Our Manager Jody has 16 years of management experience, the last 8 years within the travel industry. Growing up on a nursery, Jody has come full circle to work in the garden centre industry. She is a keen horse-rider who has travelled extensively.

Our floor manager Kelly Jean has a landscape architecture degree, a NZ young horticulturist of the year title and 10 years experience in the Garden centre industry. She is a keen gardener and traveller.

Our décor manager has returned to us after a stint with her family in the orchard business. With a great eye for décor and an experienced florist, Brenda can help you with any décor issues, wants or needs!

Jo-anne has trained in Biodynamics and organics, working for the last 10 years as an organic gardener at Taikura Rudolf Steiner school. Her 5ha home garden keeps her busy!

Our admin manager has been with Green Door for 13 years – there is not much she doesn’t know about Green Door! A keen gardener with an eye for antiques and bargains as well as a figures whiz!

You would be hard pressed to find anyone with as much knowledge about house plants in NZ as Rhonda. Working for Seaview Nurseries as their sales rep has left her with a wealth of knowledge.

Pippa brings a new flavour to our online presence. She works behind the scenes on our newsletter, videos, website and social media. A keen vegetable gardener and traveller, she is enjoying learning all she can about gardening.

Alan comes from a background in pharmaceuticals and after much time spent in labs he was yearning for a bit more outdoor time. He completed his level 3 Horticulture Certificate and joined us in our outdoor team.

Wendy came to love gardening after having kids and a big garden! This led her to years of experience working in garden centres where she specialises in perennials and seedlings.

Kerry
Kerry has over 15 years working in the garden centre industry and has loved gardening from the get-go (inheriting her green-fingers from her Mother who had an amazing garden in Havelock). Kerry and her husband have their own incredible garden with vegetable gardens, an orchard and plenty of flowers. She loves being outdoors.
