November Flower Garden  

· If you haven’t done it already now is the time to pop down your soak hose through your garden beds.

· Plant seedlings of cosmos, petunias, lobelia, impatiens, marigolds, verbena, salvia and many more.

· Plant water lilies and other pond plants.

· Spray roses with Combat for Roses to prevent fungus diseases and pest damage.  Organic combo is Grosafe Enspray Oil and Free Flo Copper mixed together.

· Mix Saturaid into potting mix to retain moisture in container plants and over difficult to water gardens.

· Apply Tui Lawn Fertiliser to your lawn when rain is due. Don’t cut lawns too short or they will die over summer.

· Feed roses with Novatec to promote strong growth.

· Increase watering of house plants as weather warms up. Don’t forget to give them a feed from time to time with ican Fast Food.

· Mulch newly planted trees and beds with Tui Mulch and Feed to help them get through summer.


November Edible Garden

· Use plenty of Grocom compost in vege beds.

· Feed your veges with ican Vege Food and use this each time you re-plant.

· Feed your garlic with Tui General Fertiliser and spray to protect against rust with Grosafe Free Flo Copper.

· Plant out seedlings of herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, capsicums, eggplant, lettuce, sweetcorn and much more.

· Stake tomatoes at planting time to prevent damaging roots at a later date.  Deep water and feed tomatoes with Tui Tomato Food as growth is rapid at this time.

· Spray cabbages, cauliflower, broccoli and other seedlings with Mavrik  or cover with Bug netting to stop white butterfly caterpillar damage.

· Feed strawberries with Tui Strawberry Food.

· Feed all fruit trees with ican Slow Food.

· Protect young seedlings from slugs and snails with Quash (pet friendly).

· Spray fruit trees, potatoes, grape vines, berries and vegetable plants to prevent fungus with Grosafe Free Flo Copper.

· Cover fruit with bird netting.
