School Holiday events
We offer a range of free and paid events over the school holiday period.
After hearing from parents about how they wished there was somewhere that their kids could get some hands on experiences growing plants, Green Door Kids Club was born…..
Most months ( with the exception of our busiest time Sept - Nov) we run a free plant based event one Saturday a month.
No bookings are required, you are welcome to turn up within the specified times and take part in the activity. Depending upon numbers of kids, you may need to wait for a spot.
A free scavenger hunt around our store runs during the free events as another activity to keep the kids busy. Adult supervision is required at these activities
During the school holidays we offer a range of paid and free events during the week.
Bookings are required and places are limited for the paid events which are more involved and can take up to an hour to complete. Adult supervision is required during the event.
If you would like to receive the Kids club event email that goes out once a month and gives you first notice for school holiday event bookings please email kidsclub@thegreendoor.co.nz with your name and the child/rens names who will be attending the activities.
